Estimate Maker is a web application Hisoft built for Ninale Engineers to prepare administrative-approval estimates for Soil & Water Conservation works in Maharashtra. The engineer enters the site data once – catchment, rainfall, nala section, levels and rates – and the software calculates the hydrology, the structural design, the economics and the quantities live, then prints the complete estimate in the Government format.

The first work type is the Gated Cement Bandhara; K.T. Weir, nala deepening and road works are on the way. Every report section that a sanctioning authority expects is produced: index, fund-head sheet, general report and certificates, rainfall data, yield by Strange's table, capacity table, HFL and afflux, design flood and energy dissipation, the weir body wall and wing / abutment wall stability (middle-third check), water requirement and irrigable area, annual cost, value of produce, benefit-cost ratio and ERR, general abstract, measurement sheet, steel quantity, lead chart and rate analysis.

Each site is a separate project with its key results visible at a glance. The estimate prints in English or Marathi, downloads as a PDF, exports AutoCAD drawings (DXF) and saves its inputs as a file that can be reused for the next site. Work that took days of spreadsheets and drafting is ready in minutes – and every figure is calculated the same way, every time.
