Hisoft NVR is a self-hosted network video recorder for IP cameras. It records any RTSP or ONVIF camera – EZVIZ, Hikvision, Dahua, CP Plus and others – continuously in one-minute clips on an ordinary computer, keeps a rolling storage limit so the disk never fills, and lets you watch live and play back by camera and date in the browser.
On top of recording, it reads Indian vehicle number plates (ANPR) and captures faces, so you can search a number plate and jump straight to the moment the vehicle passed. A watchlist raises an alert when a listed vehicle is seen, and motion detection keeps the processing light. Admin and viewer logins and a REST API make it easy to connect to gate, parking or visitor systems such as VisitorPass.
