1. What we collect
- Account: e-mail address or mobile number (for one-time-code login), optional name, preferred language and optional emergency contact.
- Complaints: the text, voice transcript, photos, videos and audio you choose to submit, the incident time and the location you attach.
- AI evidence extracts: when you submit a video, the app analyses it on your phone and sends key frames, cropped faces, vehicle / number-plate crops and sound measurements with your complaint so officials can act on it.
- SOS: when you trigger SOS we collect your live location, a 5-second video / audio clip and the ambient sound level until you mark yourself safe.
- Approximate location (optional): if you enable nearby emergency alerts, your last known location is used to warn you about verified emergencies near you.
- Security data: IP address, a device identifier hash and activity logs, used only to prevent misuse and fake reports.
2. How we use it
- To register, route, investigate and resolve your complaint with the responsible city department or police.
- To send you status updates and emergency alerts.
- To keep evidence tamper-proof: every file gets a SHA-256 fingerprint recorded in a hash-chained ledger.
- To detect spam, duplicate and fake complaints.
3. Anonymous reporting
In anonymous mode your name, e-mail and phone number are hidden from the officers handling the case. They are kept encrypted for legal accountability and revealed only to the system administrator on a recorded, lawful request.
4. Faces and people in videos
Videos may show other people. Faces are visible only to authorised command-centre staff for investigation and may be compared only against an official watchlist supplied by the police. Every view and search is audit-logged. Bystander data is not shared publicly.
5. Sharing
Complaint data is shared only with the city departments, police and emergency services responsible for acting on it, or when required by law. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
6. Third-party services
Maps use OpenStreetMap. On-device AI models are downloaded from public CDNs. If enabled by the city, key frames may be analysed by Google Gemini under the city's API agreement. Push notifications use your browser's or phone's push service.
7. Retention and deletion
Complaint evidence is kept as long as needed for investigation and legal proceedings, as per city / police record-retention rules. You may request deletion of your account; evidence attached to open legal cases may be retained.
8. Misuse
Filing false complaints or false SOS alerts is an offence. Repeated misuse may lead to account restriction and legal action.
